Description
The Princeton Triangle Club Dance Orchestra plays "Make Time" on a 10-3/4 inch, single-sided vinyl master test of Columbia personal mx. 170615-1. It was issued only on a Columbia personal record, as the flip side of "Day After Day" (with Jimmy Stewart's famous vocal). It's a hot arrangement with trombone, tenor sax, trumpet, and piano solos, and prominent tuba.
Bill Priestley (cnt, g); unknown (tb); Brainerd Kremer (cl, as); Philip Nash, Jack Howe (ts); Squirrel Ashcraft (accor); DeFord Swann (p); Doug MacNamara (bj); Palmer Lathrop (tu, b); Bob Bole (d). Recorded in New Yotk on December 10, 1931.
This record is in E condition generally and plays great. Two tiny rim chips nowhere near the grooves have no effect on play.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing. I know how to pack records.
