Description
Here is one of the coolest Prince promo vinyl releases! It's an official pressing of the infamous Black Album on PEACH marbled vinyl! This was issued as a strictly promotional only release and only 1000 were made. These were never released in stores and very rare. Especially now that this is almost 20 years old!! Not only is this an original, but it's got a very unusual 'swirl' to it! These colored pressings sometimes have other colors that end up in the pressing as well as the main color to create a 'marbled' effect. Sometimes it's a subtle mix and others it's more dramatic. So what's cool is, NO TWO ARE THE SAME! Especially THIS ONE! There is a big dash of green on the right side as well some red and white, making this a VERY unusual copy of this rarity. I have seen about a half a dozen copies of the peach pressing and most of them were fairly similar. This is by far the most different one I've seen and I'm sure you'll agree. It's a difficult item to photograph and I have posted as many pics as possible so you see what you are getting. Look at them all as they all came out a little different. It's so much more dramatic and stunning in person!
This record has not been played since I've owned it, and I've had it for at least 16 years now. It's been kept in it's original sturdy, reinforced mailing container that I received it in and is in excellent condition. It's hard to rate these as they were never sealed, so 'like new' is kind of relevant to the way they were issued. All were handled to a degree so it depends on who's rating it I guess. I'll just call it Excellent used, or VG+++ or whatever. No major wear or damage anywhere and it's been very well preserved. This a really beautiful piece and I don't really want to sell it, but if I can get good money for it, I'll let it have a new home and I can afford some much need 'other' things....
I don't know what shipping will be on this, but if you take the buy it now before I put the exact price on it (I will be going to the post office tomorrow to price it) just know that you will pay first class, delivery confirmation AND insurance! For a fine item like this I'm sure you'd prefer it that way as well. PLEASE Re-READ THIS SO THAT WE ARE CLEAR. It will be shipped to you with all the same protective packaging that I received it in. Wait for my invoice before paying!!

This is an awesome rarity from one of the great geniuses of our time. The fact that this is a special, limited edition promo only, COLORED, vinyl issue of an album that was only commercially available for TWO MONTHS (The Black Album was only officially in print from November of 1994 to January of 1995) makes this release quite exceptional!! Get it while you can. This is the only one quite like it on the planet!!!
