Prince - Super Rare Paisley Park U.K. 12" with WHITE LETTERING!
Most Paisley Park U.K. 12" singles were issued with orange and green lettering on the cover. However, as the single was dropping out of the charts, some covers were issued with white lettering. Since interest in the single was decreasing when these were issued, very limited numbers appear to have been produced.
I have heard stories that these were the result of a printing error, although most collectors I have spoken to state the white lettering was a deliberate change. In any event, this would be a great addition to your Prince collection!
The cover appears to be in it's original shrink wrap, and is in generally excellent condition (the shrink wrap has been opened at the top end so the record could be removed). However, there is a small split at the bottom of the cover that it barely noticeable. I have removed the record from the original sleeve to prevent further damage. The record itself has a couple of small scuffs on side 1. Side 2 is excellent. Both labels are clean.
