Product/Provenance

If I Was Your Girlfriend was the second single to be released from Prince's ninth album Sign O' The Times, released five weeks after the album. The b-side, Shockadelica, was previously-unreleased (although originally intended for the Camille album).

The single reached only number 67 on the US Billboard Pop Chart, but reached number 12 on the Billboard Black Chart. It fared better on the pop chart in the UK, reaching number 20 on the Gallup Singles Chart.

This is the rare, hard to find Japanese 7” vinyl.

Sleeve - N Mint, free of tape, sticker or residue. Some minimal creasing prevents a top grade.
