Description
This acetate came into my hands a few years ago from the private collection of a UK record company MD. There are some surface marks and scuffs as to be expected, which I have attempted to show in the alternate photos. Otherwise the finish is mainly glossy.
I have played it through once on a 1210 with a Shure M44G cartridge in order to record a short sample to upload on this auction. As can be heard, the quality is crackly, but I assume, given the fragile nature of the medium and its purpose, i.e. to create a test evaluation of a master recording, this is to be expected. I have not attempted to clean it since it requires specialist materials I do not have, so this will be at the discretion of the buyer.
Depending on the final figure of the auction, insurance will be taken out to cover any loss or damage in transit, and the postage will reflect this. International postage will obviously be higher. Due to its fragility it will be well packed for shipping. Get in touch if you have any queries.
