Description
For Auction: A SUPER RARE original issue Prince "Controversy" LP Poster - For Promotional Use Only, Not For Sale. Copyright 1981 Warner Bros. Records Inc. Made in USA. This large format poster was most likely originally distributed to record stores to promote the sale of the Controversy album. Here's your opportunity to own this very hard to find poster.
One original owner. I am a long time fan of Prince and his proteges. This poster is used with bright colors. Showing age, wear, a tear, and creases. I spent a good amount of time taking photos and assembling photo montages showing the exact condition of this rare poster. Yes, those are wear holes along the right side edge; only that edge is worn down like that.
Please review the detail photos carefully - what you see is what you'll receive. Ask any questions before the end of the auction. It has been rolled and stored in a tube since 1985.
Size: 36" H x 35-3/4" W. All sales are final, no returns. Good luck and thanks for looking!
Shipping: Poster is rolled inside brown craft paper and will ship in a sturdy round poster tube. For posters that exceed $100 in value I strongly recommend purchasing extra shipping insurance but will leave it up to the buyer to choose this option. If you want me to purchase extra insurance then do not pay until we agree to the terms and I send you an invoice. I can combine shipping on multiple auction wins by rolling the posters together and shipping them in one tube - in this case also please allow me to send an invoice for the total amount due after all auctions have ended. I strive for Positive 5 Star service and smooth, easy transactions.
