Description
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD HAS BEEN PRO CLEANED ON A PROJECT VACUUM RECORD CLEANING MACHINE .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON BOTH SIDES .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and unplayed . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as hardly played , excellent shine and just a handful of the very very lightest and small surface marks only ( in other words , looks like new ) . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more between very good and excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also , so please do bid with confidence , thank you .

Prince Buster She Was A Rough Rider LP RARE Orig Blue Beat Label . On Blue Beat BBLP 820 .
COVER: Laminated front only cover generally in very good condition , very nice overall condition for age , totally intact , no tears etc and writing free .
FRONT: Still nice and clean and shiny . There are a couple of light creases mainly near the top left corner , but this is light as you can see in the photos . There are the usual , but in this case , quite light ringwear marks and some usual laminate creases in places along the edges . There is a very small surface mark on the left edge of the white rectangular box with the words By Public Demand printed in it , this is just below and slightly to the left of the letter B in By , again as you can see , this really is very light and small . There are a few usual but light general surface marks in places . There is just some light main edge wear , mainly in the form of a couple of tiny laminate cracks . There is some usual fray / dent wear on the corners , but again , this is quite light and small . The spine is still very good overall , the titles and catalogue numbers are actually printed twice on the spine , the one being printed upside down . As you can see the text is near enough fully legible and there are just about half a dozen small usual laminate cracks as seen . There is some usual fray / feathering and just the very start of a bit of laminate lift in places , mainly near the centre third area and is mainly down to the bit of roughness on the actual edges and this roughness ( and a bit of creasing on the actual edges on the rear ) of the edge is also on the rear . This really does just give a slightly uneven closing of the opening edges .
REAR: Non laminated rear still overall clean and tidy , with just some usual handling useage wear marks ( mainly near the opening edge ) and a bit of a light grubbiness / very pale and thin browning strip on and just below the top edge and the same on the bottom edge , this again is very light as you can see . There again are a few crease marks ( one near the top right corner and is the reverse of the already mentioned one on the front description ) , and a heavier bit of creasing near the centre third section of the opening edge , again this i think can be seen in the photos . This as i mentioned has just caused a slight uneven closing of the opening edges near the centre third section only . I do hope i haven't made this out to be worse than it is , but i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions . but i can go a little OTT sometimes . There are just a few usual general surface marks in places and about half a dozen very small and extremely pale browning spot marks . There are three places on the right hand ( spine side ) edge where a little bit of pale brown spot mark can be seen , this has just been and is part of the odd laminate cracks on the spine edge as already mentioned . As i say , the odd ones here and there of these that come up have usually been badly treated , covered in writing and torn etc , this i must stress is not the case with this one , an overall very nice example .
INNER SLEEVE: Plain white paper inner sleeve in near excellent condition with just the very very palest start only of a bit of browning on one edge , a bit of a ringwear mark and a couple of usual general small surface marks . I can confirm that this is not the original inner sleeve .
RECORD: The overall grade is very good condition with mainly just some very light surface marks on both sides under normal light . There are a few larger ones visible under normal light in places on side two , and a tiny more visible one on side one though i couldn't feel this either and it really is very small , but i must stress these are not deep feelable scratches and no audible loud ticks were heard , they , as i say are just a bit larger in length surface only single line marks . There are no big clusters of scuff marks , any marks are just single surface lines only . I hope i haven't made this out to be worse than it is , but as i say i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions . Also there is very little " greying " on the run ins . It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout with just some very occasional very light background crackle noise and very very occasional very light tick ( probably about four or five very light ones on the whole LP ) in places mainly on some of the quieter parts , any noises are in just quick short sharp bursts and in odd places only and are not constant . There are some usual noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and track changeovers , but i must say that even most ( virtually all ) of these are very quiet indeed , a few are even still virtually silent . I must also say that most ( if not virtually all ) of any noise will be from the original recordings , this is further confirmed when the record goes onto the track changeover groove , if any little noise is heard towards the end of a track , it suddenly stops when it goes onto the track changeover groove . I know most people looking at this record will already know and appreciate this , but i like to be thorough so just wanted to point this out . This record really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still truely awesome . There are no jumps etc and it still retains a nice shine . Both labels are writing free , nice and clean overall though there are quite a few light spindle marks , but most of these are only visible when held to a certain angle to the light . There is what looks like a slight manufacturing defect on the spindle hole of side two . This is right on the outer edge of the hole and the best way to describe it is as a very light and small indentation in the moulding . I am pretty sure you can see this in the photos . It certainly hasn't been caused through any neglect etc and to be fair , i have seen this many times before . All in all a very nice overall example of this now rare and very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . This really must be one of the better ( though not too often seen nowadays in any decent condition ) examples out there today . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref post and packing and item gradings explained thank you .
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection. All are sent via RM post 1st class post as standard , unless signed for , or special delivery etc , as previously explained .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this , now other recent price increase , has seen me , unfortunately , have to put a slight increase on my overall charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers and stiffeners and Ebays new 10% extra fee for seller postage costs . Please also note that I now send ALL LP’s with a minimum of 3 stiffeners on all none GF LP's and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service .
