Description
This is the limited edition purple vinyl Record Store Day edition which was only available from Electric Fetus in Minneapolis. The record is still sealed. Limited to 1,984 copies worldwide.
This edition was only available to purchase at "Electric Fetus" record store in Minneapolis exclusive to "Paisley Park Celebration 2018" badge holders. It was limited to one copy per badge.
One day later "Electric Fetus" offered another 300 copies for purchase (while supplies last) on Record Store Day 2018 with the same 'one copy per person' policy. After the celebration weekend "Electric Fetus" sold the item online too and it is now sold out.
The record is in hand in London, UK and can be shipped out same day or within 24 hours. No import fees if in UK. I bought this myself from Electric Fetus in Minneapolis.

Michael Howe is the Prince Estate’s official Vault Archivist, and had the following to say: “I spotted the two-inch multitrack reel in the Vault some weeks back while doing a 1984-era inventory. After retrieving my jaw from the floor, we took the reel upstairs, analysed it, put it up on the Studer 24 track machine, and digitised it to 24/192. Even our ‘faders up’ rough mix was compelling enough to indicate that this was something very special indeed.”
Note this is the PURPLE VINYL LIMITED EDITION RECORD STORE DAY version available only at Electric Fetus and not the black vinyl or picture disc which will have separate releases in non-limited quantities.
