Prince 1999
1999 was the fifth studio album by the artist known as Prince. It was released on October 27, 1982 on Warner Bros. Records. It was the album that broke Prince, propelled by three Top 20 hits, “1999”(12), “Delirious” (8) and “Little Red Corvette” (6). Prince also received his first Grammy nomination for “International Lover,” Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. The album was his first Top Ten album, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. It has made all three lists of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by Rolling Stone.
This Deluxe 4-LP box set marks the first ever remaster of the original album along with B-sides, remixes, single edits and dance mixes. It is a clean, SEALED copy.
