Product/Provenance
1999 is the fifth full-length studio album by Prince. It was released worldwide in October 1982 (twelve months after his previous album, Controversy).
In March 1983 the album received a re-release as a 7-track single LP in all territories except the US, omitting D.M.S.R, Automatic, All The Critics Love U In New York and International Lover.
This example is the 1982 Japanese first issue double vinyl, in an incredibly rare complete Mint condition.

Vinyl - Record 1 - 1/2 Mint. Record 2 - 3/4 Mint. Both records are in stunning unplayed condition. There is a lovely even gloss across both records on all 4 sides.
Labels - 1/2/3/4 - Mint, free of any damage, like new. The classic eye print is stunning in this brand new condition.
This is one for the enthusiast, this record has several elements to it, rare on its own merit however it’s incredibly rare to find a complete true Mint condition like this example with every element in perfect condition, this is reflected in the price.
