Description
For sale; original 1991 copy of 'Screamadelica' - Creation CRELP 076 double LP in gatefold sleeve. Sleeve is in very good condition; a bit of a crease on the lower right corner; a couple of slightly 'dinged' corners; good spine; faint crease where the records are showing through the cover slightly (very common with double LPs!). Promotional sticker on upper right-hand corner - may still be 'removeable'! Last photo shows a degree of 'foxing' (i.e. it's gone a bit spotty) on the inner surface of the sleeve. That's 24 year old cardboard for you; it has had no effect on sleeve or records, but I'd rather mention it now than for it to be an issue later....
I bought this copy within a few weeks of issue (from the late, lamented Penny Lane Records in Chester, if memory serves...), recorded it onto cassette so I could listen to it at university, played it to death for a year or so.... and I'm not sure the LPs have been out of their sleeve again until today! Inner sleeves/vinyl all in excellent condition as befits a record which was only ever played a handful of times. I'm much more likely to listen to a Schubert string quartet these days, so it's time to find a new home for this one. As a bit of a bonus, there is a 'spare' Side 1 label included. Due to a manufacturing fault during pressing, this copy ended up with two Side 1 labels - one stuck to the record, and another (rather cockled) one loosely stuck on top! I carefully removed it at the time so I could play Side 2, and slipped it inside the sleeve where I found it this morning. Try finding another one of those! It would look nice tastefully framed, or laminated for use as a novelty coaster....
UK bids only, please. LP will be posted 1st Class Signed For on receipt of payment via PayPal. Any questions, please ask... thanks for looking!
