  Pretty Purdie - Soul Drums - LP Do I really need to describe this one? Pretty Purdie in the late 60s. Simple and plain. Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie it has been said is the 'World's Most Recorded Drummer' what with his funky feel and flawless timing, his resume of artists that he has played Drums for on record is unbelievably lengthy. This RARE solo LP from 1968 contains the hit single 'Funky Donkey' along with an album full of great RnB tracks but it's not all Drums in the forefront, as Purdie has Richard Tee, Eric Gale, Billy Butler, Bob Bushnell, Seldon Powell and Buddy Lucas rippin' with him. Great stuff from a legend of the music world!!!
