Description

Pretenders and REO Speedwagon live in concert- Supergroups ABC Radio Networks show for broadcast 8/20/83. Pretenders  show is a mix of tracks from The Paradise in Boston, 1980 and the Beacon Theatre in NY, although the voice-over says from Boston. REO is from Milwaukee Convention Center.  LPs are graded only VG due to sides A/D and B/E being pressed off center.  I had to enlarge the holes to get rid of the "wow". There is other noise and ticks and pops.  I will include a CD for each group with ticks and pops removed with the pencil tool in Audacity. All voice-overs and commercials have been removed and there are cross-fades between sides.  I also edited in the "f" word from another source on Stop Your Sobbin' as ABC had garbled it on the LP for broadcast. The Pretenders material is the same as the Warner Bros. Music Show, released in 1981 and re-released as a special Record Store Day release, and on the 3-CD issue of the 1st Pretenders album, although this show includes "Brass in Pocket".
