Description

For Auction, A Two Record Lot Sale of 78's on the Paramount Label by the Great Banjo Player & Singer Papa Charlie Jackson. Both records date from 1925, and are among the earliest 78's issued by the Legendary Paramount Label. Both records feature cuts that were eventually covered by numerous subsequent Blues Artists.  Both records are in G+ condition, with some graying in the grooves.  The first record is Paramount 12236, and the cuts are Salt Lake City Blues, and Salty Dog Blues. The second record is Paramount 12296, and the cuts Mama Don't Allow It, and Take Me Back Blues.  I am well experienced with 78's, and will ship the 2 records in a 12 X 8 Box, loaded with packing Peanuts, so they will get to you safely.  Please note this is a three day auction, closing Sunday Night.  Please check my listings for Blues and Rock & Roll 78's, including more Pristine Chess 78's from Howlin' Wolf, and Muddy Waters.
