Description

The first Climax records from September 1901 lacked a paper label. These were the first disk records sold by Columbia. In many years of collecting, this is the only one I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it has a crack that's visible in both photos. It's still a fine example of an incredibly rare type of record.
The embossed information apparently credits William F. Hooley as the speaker.
