Scarce, early Eldridge R. Johnson Victor Monarch Record, pre-matrix number 3349 "I'm Living Easy" by Silas Leachman. Announced by Leachman, with piano accompaniment. Take 2 recorded May 13, 1901. Interestingly, both Fagan and Moran, and the online Victor discography, only show take 1 as being issued. On this recording Leachman engages in a little banter during the piano introduction played by Victor house accompaniest, Christopher H. H. Booth, whom he actually mentions by name, saying at the start: "C'mon Mr. Booth..." Overall condition is VG with light surface wear and some graying in the grooves. Label shows a little wear in spots. Plays loud and clear with no problems, just a little bit of roughness at the very start. Carefully cleaned and conservatively graded.PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
