MAINSTREAM D.J. PROMO LP - STILL SEALED!!!
Original 1968 copy - NOT A REPRESSING!!!
The back cover has a D.J. Promo stamp (see photo #2), but was apparently never opened and played. Then later on it was somehow acquired by the "Zayre" company, which was a large U.S. discount / department store chain. The cover still has the Zayre 99-cent sticker in the upper right corner. Zayre went out of business back in the late 1970's. I purchased this at an estate sale last week - still sealed after all these years!!

Condition:
Still sealed in original shrink wrap. Still looks very nice, no visible sign of warping. Has a small factory cut-out hole in upper left corner. The upper left also has a couple of very tiny holes where a price sticker must have been stapled on at one time. The bottom left corner is slightly dinged (bent).HTML clipboard HTML clipboard

Grading Scale:
Mint (M) - A perfect 10. No visible or audible defects.
Near Mint (NM) - 9 to 10. Excellent; very little if any wear.
Very Good++ (VG++) - 8 to 9. Has very minor wear. Will still look and sound excellent.
Very Good+ (VG+) - 7 to 8. Has minor wear. Still looks nice - still sounds nice - might have light surface noise in a few spots.
Very Good (VG) - 6 to 7. Has minor to moderate wear. Scuffs/scratches are more noticeable. Music still sounds fine, but you will also hear background surface noise in places.
Very Good- (VG-) - 5 to 6. Moderate to heavier wear. Surface noise throughout, but should not drown out music. Probably not for serious audiophiles. More casual listeners might still enjoy, despite the flaws.
Good (G) - 4 to 5. Heavy wear. The vinyl and/or cover will have many scuffs, scratches and/or other defects. Audiophiles should definitely avoid.
