Description

Hard-To-Find White Label Promotional LP from Television titled "Marquee Moon" issued by Elektra Records (7E-1098) in 1977. Ground-breaking post-punk debut album from Television. The 8 tracks have a raw and unadorned sound that give it the urgency of punk but with the extended intertwining guitar playing of Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd, the record gets pushed into a realm of its own. Not a bad track on the album...essential! Proper inner sleeve with band photo and lyrics is included with this white label promo.

Labels are in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT/MINT- condition with new-like luster and a couple of faint sleeve streaks on Side One that do nothing to the sound. Plays with some sporadic, light surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in VG+ condition with some wear at corners, some edgewear, a sticker shadow with a surface peel at top left of front, date penned on front, sticker shadow at top right of backside, comments penned inside circle on backside (apparently a DJ did not like the band) and there is some surface wear from storage. Custom printed inner sleeve has edgewear and small splits at center of two edges. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.75 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
