Please Please Me by the Beatles.

XEX 421 1N/422 2N
From what I can make out this is a sixth pressing from the mid sixties. Not widely pressed presumably as mono was on its way out by this point.
Firstly, the record:
Visually very nice. Some light marks & surface scratches on either side but no deep impact damage. Looks like it's been played but generally properly looked after.
Would benefit from a professional clean.
Sounds deep & warm from beginning to end like a sixties mono copy should. Not quite audiophile level perhaps but a very enjoyable listen with no skips or jumps.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Clean & unmolested with a good legible spine. Some light edge wear if you're picky I suppose but I think it's nice enough. Has a Harlequin Record Shops tag on it which would probably peel off but I like it so I've left it as it is.
Has the period correct small mono caption & patents pending on the flipback.
Comes housed in a fetching EMI sepia inner sleeve advertising Revolver & a Collection of Beatles Oldies which I think is a sweet touch.
A nice, collectable copy of a classic at a good starting price.
