Description

Up for auction is the Holy Grail of the Greek New wave discography and one of the most wanted minimal synth records around the world.
Released privately in 1984 and in a circulation of about 100-150 copies on their own Violent Crime label with no cover.
In 1990, the quite new back then Wipeout Records (that released many great Greek records) found a stock of 50 copies, numbered them, and released it through it's catalogue with a cover.
The cover came in colours of red, yellow and brown.
Here's the link to Wipeout's wedpage, go to the catalogue and check 1990:
http://wipeout.gr/wipeout1.html

This is the second copy to surface on eBay, the last one was sold a year ago, it was the edition without a cover.
But now auctioned is the limited edition with the cover!
This record is number 24 of 50!!!
Tracks are:
A. Don't forget me  -----(pure and catchy minimal synth with a pop flavour)
B.The end--------(minimal synth darkness)

This record is impossible  find, especially the numbered edition,
and in this condition.
The Record is Nm and the Cover is just perfect. The BEST condition for this record ever!

I believe no futher description is needed, but please do send me any of your questions!!
Also if you want a sample clip of this record just ask! I'll be happy to assist!
Good luck!

On Sep-17-09 at 12:18:31 PDT, seller added the following information:

I just received a message via eBay by a fellow Greek.
He asked me to be more careful with my descriptions,
that was because he disagreed with the fact that I said that the record was limited to 50 copies and asked how on earth did I come up with this number.
As you can all see by youselfs if you visit wipeout records's site www.wipeout.gr (which is also on english)
they say that it was released in 50 copies.
This is what I copy-pasted from the site's catalogue:

WOR 024
7"
PLASTIC DOLLS - THE END
(SOLD OUT) 1990 Old new wave single from 1984 from a short-lived group. A few copies (50) were discovered and was released with different colors covers.

As for the number 24, as you can see on the photo of my item, it's stamped on the label.
The man who sent me the mail said that it's not a numbering of the record, but the catalogue number.
Since this is the only limited copy of the record to ever come to my hands I don't know whether that is correct or not.

Nevertheless the record IS certified by the label to be limited to 50 copies.
