The Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16 is a professional sampler and step sequencer with an integrated 7-inch full-color touch screen for DJs and producers. With the 16-step sequencer, you can create up to 256 patterns, and with Pro DJ Link and MIDI clock, everything is always in sync. The comprehensive sound generator is equipped with the great sounding analog filters from Dave Smith Instruments' Prophet-6 synthesizer. What's more, the intuitive sampler features 16 multi-colored performance pads with velocity mode that allow you to manipulate, play and layer one-shot samples in real-time thanks to the powerful processor. In addition, the TORAIZ SP-16 sampler has 8GB of flash memory, allowing it to operate as a stand-alone device, so there's no need to have a computer in the DJ booth. Create up to 256 patterns with the 16-step sequencer
The 16-step sequencer offers you the possibility to create up to 256 different patterns. You load your sounds into the sequencer and can immediately fire them again and modulate them with the six endless knobs. For a quick overview, the buttons light up in the color you assigned them to the respective sound. Of course, the patterns can be saved, so you can recall and play them back during your performance.

The TORAIZ SP-16 features a large 7-inch full-color touch screen that provides detailed sample information. Quickly browse, recall samples, or assign a color to a sample, all this and more can be edited using the touch display and the knobs underneath.
Multicolor Performance Pads with Velocity Mode
The multi-colored Performance Pads with Velocity mode let you feed up to 16 different samples and play them back directly. The pads reflect the colors you assigned to the samples. The pads invite you to finger-drumming or layering multiple sounds. The Velocity mode allows you to control the volume of a sample with the velocity of a pad.
8 GB flash memory and real-time editing for endless music production
The integrated 8 GB flash memory offers enough storage space to let the sound generator work in stand-alone mode or does not need a laptop for use. In addition, the TORAIZ SP-16 provides enough power to play all 16 samples simultaneously and modulate them in real time with timestretching, pitch bend or the amp envelope.
Analog filters from Dave Smith Instruments' Prophet-6 synthesizer
In collaboration with Dave Smith, Pioneer has equipped the TORAIZ SP-16 with analog filters from the cult synthesizer Prophet-6. The three dedicated dial controls give you direct access to cut-off, resonance and drive. Perfect for shaping sounds and adding presence and true analog warmth.
Pro DJ Link and MIDI Clock - and everything is in the right timing
With Pro DJ Link you can synchronize your one-shots and loops with the timing of the master deck. This can be a connected CDJ or XDJ. That way your sounds never get out of hand. MIDI Clock keeps other USB devices in sync as well.
