Description
Argo 604. Black and silver label, deep groove. Winter sings 12 tunes. Some tunes are standards, some seldom heard tunes. Artists include Gerald Wiggins, piano; Jim Wolf, bass; Howard Roberts, guitar. Very rare, early pressing.
Cover: VG or Better 7" scotch tape applied to the top edge; 6" scotch tape on the bottom edge. These may be covedring much smaller edge tears and may have been applied to protect the edges from further damage. Top corner of the insert edge hs several creases and a small tear on the front cover near the top. Very light aging on the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. A few light discoloration spots on the vinyl pressing. This was not caused by wear but happened during manufacturing. There is a small amount of light static-like groove noise on Tracks 1 and 2 on Side A. This noise is very light and lasts for only a short interval. This condition is probably from the early pressing, no wear. There are 5 or 6 additional light clicks. The record is very close to Mint in overall condition. Audibly checked.
