Incredibly rare special Columbia Records promotional DJ release of Wish You Were Here for radio play. The record is banded, the songs are broken up into shorter segments with silence between each track. Original white cardboard blank cover contains a gold embossed "DEMONSTRATION Not For sale" stamp on both sides and a large round mechanical handshake "Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here PC 33453" song title hype sticker with the credits reading "© 1975 Pink Floyd Music Limited Manufactured by Columbia Records CBS Inc. 51 West 52nd. Street N.Y. N.Y. ® "Columbia", Marcas Reg." This special DJ promo release comes with an incredible rare pink "SPECIAL D.J. EDITION" insert that contains the tracking listing along with the timing for each song and total time, which are absent on all of the other original issues of this album. Black and blue mechanical hand shake Columbia Records label with the catalog number PC 33453 and rim text starting at 7 o'clock.This copy is coming from a private collection of Pink Floyd, which we've acquired recently. Very early 1st Columbia Records pressing vinyl, special for DJ radio stations, with the 1st -1A / -1A machine stamped matrix stampers.

I grade the cover as Very Good Plus. Some occasional edge and corner wear, a light hint of ring wear at the top of the front cover, light soiling, some light creasing at the top left corner. The cover doesn't have any splits or writing with a beautifully preserved hype sticker. The original Columbia Records white inner sleeve and pink "SPECIAL D.J. EDITION" pink insert are in Near Mint Minus condition. I grade the vinyl as Excellent as it only has some very light scuffs from the inner sleeve. The labels are very clean and cuff / wear-free and don't have any spindle marks.
