Description
Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here
High quality half-speed mastered 1980 audiophile pressing (HC 43453).
I purchased this album new in the early 80s. It was played a few times, on good quality kit, but it has spent many years now (decades) in storage, not being played.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. I have today play tested the entire record, listening critically with good headphones. I noticed no pops or clicks on either side. This is an exceptionally clean and quiet pressing, with barely even a crackle. It sounds great. Check out the images above of the record's surface to see how pristine it looks.
The sleeve is in very good condition, having been protected by the original outer poly cover (as pictured). One corner has a slight ding. There is slight creasing to the lower front. The spine is tidy. There is a white sticker at the top of the spine, applied at time of manufacture, correcting the catalogue number. There is no writing or sticker damage. There are no tears or splits. (Again, please see the pictures above.)
Track listing:
A1 Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part 1-5) A2 Welcome To The Machine
B1 Have A Cigar B2 Wish You Were Here B3 Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part 6-9)
The record is protected by its original poly inner liner. The original printed CBS Mastersound insert is included, with details of the half-speed mastering process used for this record. The original outer protective poly sleeve, with affixed stickers, is included. No other inserts are included (I don't think there were any.)
