Pink Floyd WISH YOU WERE HERE 1975 SHVL 814 A1/B3 First Pressing, First Issue
I have graded the vinyl Very Good Plus, as in bright light there are visible signs where over time the album has been brought in and out of its sleeve and use and wear generally. There are no lines or scratches, just light play marks. The condition of the vinyl is still very good, black and shiny and it plays well, with a little light crackle in the lead up to track 1, Side 2, the quiet part of the track, right at the beginning, which clears after a few seconds. I also thought I detected a jump at the beginning of Side 2 but then when I listened to another version on youtube I heard the same thing. Weird stuff as I'm sure you know goes on in this album, suddenly we cut to Radio 4 or some quiet chatter! But if I have any aspect of the grading wrong, I comfort myself that I offer 30 day returns.
I was concerned to get the grading accurate when selling some of the high end albums and so I took them to Audio Zombie where they have every kind of technique to clean vinyl, impressive 6 stage process. It hasn't been able to remove some still discernible light crackle that comes occasionally in quiet parts of play, but then I'm pinned with my ear to the speaker listening for it, not sure I would notice in the same way if I were just playing the album for enjoyment.
I have graded the sleeve Very Good Plus as there is a small tear repair halfway down the right hand side of the front cover and the fade associated with unlamented albums, where they lose the newness over time and feint yellowing sometimes.
