Description

A rare opportunity to acquire a very good example of an iconic 1969 original UK pressing of this 2-LP set. With no boxed EMI logo, this is unmistakably an original edition. Both LPs are in remarkable condition for their age, with only one or two minor surface scratches, which take nothing away from the vey good play quality. Ummagumma is the 4th album released by Pink Floyd. It is a double album and was released on 25th October 1969. The first disc consists of live recordings from the Mothers Club in Birmingham and the College of Commerce in Manchester; the second is made up of solo compositions from each band member, recorded at Abbey Road studios London. There is minor wear to one end of the cover (see photo), but otherwise cover and inner sleeves are in remarkable condition. The LPs were originally carefully played and have subsequently been unplayed for several decades, and hence the superior condition for almost 50 year old records.
