Description
I am selling quite a large record collection on behalf of a friend featuring a wide range of musical styles, they have been well cared for, though I will try to give an 100% honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on.
For sale here is a very nice early pressing of 'The Final Cut', original 1983 vinyl album by Pink Floyd (matrix A -1U - 1 / B - 2U - 1) in very good condition.
Kurt Loder of Rolling Stone wrote of this exquisite album - "This may be art rock's crowning masterpiece, but it is also something more. With The Final Cut, Pink Floyd caps its career in classic form, and leader Roger Waters — for whom the group has long since become little more than a pseudonym — finally steps out from behind the "Wall" where last we left him. The result is essentially a Roger Waters solo album, and it's a superlative achievement on several levels."

The gatefold sleeve features superb artwork by Roger Waters and is in really nice condition with just a small area of damage to the bottom rear of the reverse as can be seen on photo #3 where I had to separate it after it got stuck to another record whilst stored which is a shame because barring that it's a lovely crisp, square and shiny sleeve.
The vinyl is excellent, really clean and glossy. I'm listening to the record as I type this and it plays superbly, really crisp and clear. To be 100% honest, despite the vinyl looking great, there are 4 'ticks' about a minute into track 2 on side 1 - 'Your Possible Pasts', but barring that the audio is really excellent throughout. I am listening to the record as I type this and this vinyl album really delivers that richness and depth you just do not get with digital recordings..
I will send the records very thoroughly packaged in high quality cardboard mailers with card stiffeners and with 'signed for' delivery which does cost an extra quid but I'll feel more confident that the records will arrive safely with you that way.
