From my private collection, Pink Floyd - Point Me at the Sky / Arnold Layne (Japan 7-inch Odeon OR-2979)
1972 Japanese Odeon 2-track 7-inch. Wrap-around colour picture front cover with lyrics printed inside. Original generic Toshiba company sleeve with record stored in anti-static sleeve. Misprinted as “Point Me to the Sky” throughout. High quality vinyl pressing of this rare Pink Floyd track; Point Me at the Sky has only been commercially re-issued as part of the 1992 CD collection The Early Singles, a bonus disc in the Shine On box set (and I’m keeping that!).
Visual Goldmine grading: Record NM, sleeve VG+ (slight evidence of light creasing in places and a little discolouration from ageing). Note that I will only grade as Mint if an item remains sealed.
Has been boxed since I purchased the item in London in the late 1980s. Will be posted within a sealed plastic bag in a Music Max record mailer (see photo) with additional stiffener.
