Pink Floyd Piper At The Gates Of Dawn Mono CX 6157
Columbia EMI CX 6157 reissue on blue vinyl of the mono mix and English running order which is waaaaaaaaaay better.
I’m not suggesting anybody should pay $130+ for this - like you would with an original, but this is a tough mix to find on vinyl - as either this Columbia/EMI or the American Tower/Capitol with “See Emily Play.” So take up thy stethoscope and walk!
LP Condition
Play graded to guarantee against defects.
Record & cover are both the grade below Mint = “Excellent+” or “Mint-“, whatever you want to call it - a full luster and plenty of vinyl ‘bite’. Like most English sleeves, it is starting to show a miniscule amount of crowning, for that reason I ignored my usual tradition and kept it in the shrink wrap for extra support. No one would see this in a store and lament the condition, especially given the downright ludicrous rarity. (Also, contrary to the default comments below - I will ship this is another, different album sleeve. That way it’s win-win.)
Bought sealed and played just a few times with a safe needle. From a temperature safe smoke- and pet-free environment.

I’m only listing a few albums at this time so I’m offering a flat postage (with delivery confirmation) of $4.00, even if you win my other auctions. The maximum you’ll pay is $4.00. They’ll end about the same time.
The albums will be promptly shipped in cardboard LP mailers: recycled, but I’ve been saving the best of the best. I’ve got a full guarantee on safe shipping with the record arriving unscratched. However at your insistence I would reluctantly ship the records outside the sleeve. My own experience is that’s utterly insane so I’d have to void the guaranteed refund and I don’t want to do that. Most American and audiophile sleeves can handle the journey just fine. I treat every LP like the hallowed work of art it is, so it would break my heart to see anything bad happen from my neglect.

When stores we’re giving away vinyl at rock bottom prices, I was there with my arms out. However, I don’t consider myself a “collector.” I’m more a “vinyl user.” As a said before, everything I list I’ve heard from beginning to end, have sonically assessed its value and try to offer at an appropriate and fair price. I’m not in it for the money. Now I’m trying to lighten up the stacks to a more manageable quantity and looking to spread the love of music around. Thanks for looking.
