PINK FLOYD - OFF THE WALL Special Radio Construction - For Promotional Use Only Format - 12" LP Vinyl Label - Columbia Catalogue Number - AS 736 Manufactured - Printed in the USA Released - 1979
CONDITION Vinyl grades at VERY GOOD PLUS. A couple very faint superficial hairlines evident when scrutinised under natural light. This does not affect play in any way. No scratches - No marks - No Pops.
The audio definition on these tracks is superb and somewhat clearer and more defined than on the official release due to there being more space between the grooves. Vinyl is very clean and has been well maintained and looked after.
The CBS circular border on both sides of the vinyl has been black-marked. This was administered at the time of manufacture and was a common occurrence on promotional items distributed through the EMI UK affiliated Columbia Records which were shipped overseas. This is the only blemish on an otherwise immaculate piece.
Sleeve grades at NEAR MINT. No folds - No bends - No marks - No scribbles. Excellent condition on both sides. Smooth texture. All text very sharp and clear.
Spine is excellent. No spine wear. Spine text sharp and clear.
As these tracks were destined for radio play there are slight variations in the mixes compared to those on the offical release. 'Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 has a clean intro with no guitar figure which precedes the vocal. 'Goodbye Blue Sky' has no sound effects on the intro. Introductions and codas on this release are noticeably different to the definitive album versions.
