Pink Floyd – Off The Wall: Special Radio Construction 12" Promo Sampler LP (1979 US Columbia AS 736) Up for auction is an exceptionally rare, legendary piece of The Wall era history: the original 1979 United States promotional-only album sampler "Off The Wall." This 8-track LP was pressed in strictly limited quantities exclusively for radio station programming and was never made available for commercial retail sale to the general public.   • Matrix / Runout Side 1: AL 36725 / PAL-36725 (with machine-stamped custom promo indicators)
Condition Notes (Strictly Visual Grade):
  • Overall Condition: Graded conservatively as Good (G) because I do not own a record player and have no means to play-test the audio.
  • Vinyl Condition: The vinyl disc looks clean under direct light but there is one area of scuffing on Side, retaining a sharp original gloss and a strong underlying sheen. It shows visual paper scuffs and handling marks, but no deep or feelable scratches. White center labels are crisp and clean.
  • Sleeve Condition: Housed in its original custom text-printed promotional jacket. Shows standard vintage handling wear, edge rubbing, and minor storage ring/corner wear from a historical radio collection layout. No major writing or broadcast ink stamps present. There are areas of discoloration and a general overall loss of white due to the age of the paperboard used. The inner sleeve has two seams that are split.
An incredible opportunity to own one of the rarest, most prized non-retail promotional artifacts in the entire Pink Floyd discography.
