Description

I have a number of collectable vinyl LPs to list this week - 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. So please take a minute to see seller's other items to see if there's anything else you're looking for. All records are buy it now (or best offer) and priced to sell.

I will happily combine/refund postage for you if you buy more than one record. I can ship up to eight LPs for total postage of £3. I will use record mailers with stiffeners or boxes to pack the records depending on the quantity.

This listing: Obscured by Clouds - Pink Floyd (1972 EMI/Harvest LP)

Released in between the more high profile Meddle and the obviously mega-selling Dark Side of the Moon, and consequently sometimes unjustly overlooked album. Recorded to be the soundtrack to the super-obscure film La Vallee.

This copy is an original one from 1972:

• Hipgnosis-designed textured sleeve with rounded corners
• Catalogue number SHSP 4020 stereo
• Sleeve includes the quaint "File under POPULAR: Pop Groups"
• Sleeve includes the printing date "7206"
• Original EMI inner sleeve - advertising various EMI albums of the period
• Green EMI Harvest labels
• Runnout grooves ending A-2 and B-2

NOTE: I believe this makes it technically still a first press as apparently "the first cut (end of runouts A-1 B-1) was quickly rejected because of too much high-end eq (see "Pink Floyd in Pompeii" film)".

Vinyl is VG or better

Sleeve is VG or better - no faults to report other than some light edgewear

A very nice copy.

Actual item pictured - no stock photos here.

Priced to sell. Buy it now bargain at £16 o.n.o.

Low postage. 100% feedback seller.

Any questions, please ask.
