Grading for vinyl is VG-/ VG/ VG+/ NM and sealed. I do not use “EX”. I only offer trashed or unplayable records for auction if they are exceptionally rare.

This item is sealed and presumed to be in NEW condition. It has been in storage – always upright, in sealed outer plastic sleeve and out of sunlight – since I acquired it around 12 years ago.

Production Information: This Original Master Recording was made using the half-speed production process, with mastering by Original Masteringworks. The pressing was sourced from the original stereo master tape. The disc was specially plated and pressed on high definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. The album cover was made of special, heavy duty protective packaging, and the record was housed in a special, static-free, dust-free inner sleeve. Manufactured and distributed by MFSL, under license from Harvest Records, Inc.

Inner Cover: Black and white band member pictures.
Inner Sleeve: Cardboard 4-page wrap-around inner sleeve cover with technical details and catalog listings. Record is housed in a special static-free, dust-free inner sleeve.
Plastic Cover: Released sealed in a medium weight plastic cover. The plastic cover had a small hole in the center for ventilation, and was perforated along the bottom edge to tear off to open.
Label: White MFSL label with black text. At the top it says in brown text "ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING TM MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB a division of MFSL. INC." At the bottom it says "Pressed In Japan."

Vinyl Album Pressing Note: In 1988, the JVC pressing plant in Yokohama, Japan, that Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab had used to press it's vinyl albums closed down. At the time, MFSL announced that it would no longer make vinyl albums. However, in the early 1990s MFSL opened a new pressing plant near Sebastopol, California, and MFSL began releasing vinyl albums once again in 1994 with their ANADISQ 200 LP series. The MFSL Original Master Recording LP of Meddle was the last Pink Floyd album produced at the JVC pressing plant in Japan.
