I'm not a record grading expert, and I don't use "the" official grading system (if there is one?).  I have a fairly large record collection, so I'm very familiar with records and what to expect based on age, how to care for them, etc.  If the pictures or my description is not enough, please contact me, before bidding.  I can email you additional pics of specific areas, pieces, flaws, etc.  I'll do my best to relay the actual condtion and item specifics and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.  
Limited edition no. 0152
Gatefold jacket is very glossy with a couple slight creases starting at the spine, one about an inch long on the back, one very slight one on the front about 1/2 inch long.  Clear plastic sticker on back upper right corner reads "Limited Edition 0152".  Album information on spine is actually on the top side.  There is a small split, showing white, starting at the bottom of the spline.   The corners have a very small white fuzzing.  I'd call it great.
Generic master recording gatefold insert looks like it probably looked when it was new.  Can't find much to complain about here.
Plastic sleeve is lined with what appears to be tissue paper on one side.  This, too, looks like it's new.
Vinyl looks brand new, like it's never been played.  I can't find a single scratch of any size anywhere.  The labels look new, too, with side one having a couple of very small grey spindle marks right around the hole that are barely noticeable.  The label on side two has what might be described as some darker rub marks around the outside, but they're pretty faint.  I'm being very picky here.  Save for the evidence of a spindle touching the label on side one, you'd think this record has never been played.
My default shipping protocol is If the record sells for $30.00 or less, I'll place it into a corrugated cardboard record mailer and ship it UPS ground for the calculated cost.  If it sells for more than $30.00, I'll place the record in a corrugated mailer, then package that in an additional box with packing and ship it UPS for the calculated cost.  In this case, please wait for an invoice from me before paying.  I will ship internationally and overseas, but you must contact me in advance, before bidding, to confirm the cost of shipping.

*** Update, 2/28/12, 10:30 pm: Gave the record a listen today, front to back, as suggested by a prospective bidder.  It was noisier than I'd expected.  Looked very closely in the sunlight, and there was a substance (juice?  beer?) spattered lightly on side one, affecting about the first half of that side.  I carefully cleaned the record with a solution of 5 parts water, 1 part rubbing alcohol and 1 drop of Seventh Generation all natural dish soap.  I wiped both sides carefully and thoroughly with a cotton ball, and dried with a lint-free micro-fiber cloth.  I was careful to stay away from the label.  The record sounded great after that.  There is a slight crackle here and there, but they are pretty few and far between.  I suppose it could be cleaned a bit better by someone with more experience than I.  If any of this concerns you, please contact me before bidding, and I will answer all questions as best I can.  Thanks.
