Very Rare UK 1st Press complete with Correct early issued Garrod & Lofthouse Matt Midnight Blue Gatefold Cover , Original black poly-lined inner sleeve with white lower print , 2 Original Posters with white borders , 2 original -night and day pyramid stickers and the very earliest pressed vinyl with the solid blue labels and all in SUPERB CONDITION!Most music lovers will be aware of this all time classic lp which has broken so many world records in sales, charts , popularity statistics etc etc ( a personal favourite of mine ) This masterpiece was released in March 1973 but the band had played several numbers on the circuit in 1972 under the title ' Eclipse - A piece for assorted Lunatics ' A fantastic creation of Genius that deals with the burdons of everyday life that drive people to insanity !
There are many releases of this album in just about every country but this is the holy-grail original UK 1st Pressing with the quickly withdrawn solid blue triangle label variant ( which was quickly re-worked to the transparant varaint - due to the difficulty in reading the track listings )

COVER
This is an original matt midnight blue Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover, right-hand side opening . This cover has survived very well by most standards , it's not the most durable type of cover and most are extremely worn with storage / handling use / ring wear etc but this is clean and bright both inside and out.There are some very very light storage wear marks but these are very minor and it looks better 'in the flesh' than on the images ! there are no tears, stains or stickers present and just a tiny four letter word writen in blue ink on the centre of the inside which is extremely hard to notice and if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't see it , overall a very nice example and well above the average condition offered (see-pics) EXCELLENT CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides still retain a deep rich glossy shine with no stains , scratches or scuffs present, upon closer inspection under bright lighting and in direct sunlight ! only a couple of super light wispy fine tiny lines are visable , these are very very fine and difficult to see ! this realy is a very well cared for example. Both sides play through extremely well with sharp ,clear audio through both channels and just a hint of background /vinyl static noise from time to time , mainly present on the intros , this is only short and due to the dramatic composition of instrumets very hard to notice even at volume and not heard during mid track , a superb looking and sounding example of this classic floyd holy-grail ! Both Visualy and Audibly EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION !!!!
LABELS
Original earliest solid blue triangle ! both labels are in super clean condition with no stickers, writing , stains or wear to the centre hole ! there are some faint spindle traces but only visable on angled viewing in direct light . Overall a very clean and bright set EXCELLENT CONDITION ! INNER Original black poly-lined inner sleeve with the Patent No and Made in Great Britain lower print, again this inner is in clean shape with nothing more to fault than some creasing ( see-pic ) POSTER Both posters are present and in un-spoilt condition , no tears, tape marks or pin holes ! Original white border with catalogue number in the lower corner ! very clean and bright with nothing more to fault than the original folds they come with ( see-pics ) STICKERS Both original 'night and day ' pyramid stickers are present and in bright and clean shape , no tears , stains , writing etc and just a couple of faint creases , super condition ! ( see-pics) DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS CLASSIC FLOYD HOLY-GRAIL ITEM , WHICH IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ALL ORIGINAL COMPONENTS AND IN SUPERB CONDITION !!!
