DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - UK 1973 - A2 / B2 MATRIX - RARE FIRST PRESSING PERFECT SOUND
MATRIX : A-2 RT 2 / B-2 HT 3 !!
This is the original form of the release, it has solid light blue prism LP picture labels with silver lettering, later forms have an empty prism. It has an orignal blue-tinged gatefold sleeve. Delivered with 2 originals posters and 2 stickers.
'The Gramophone Co.' text starts at 10 o'clock on label.
A-2/B-2 matrix stamps appear in the runout area.
There is a distinct bluish tint/tinge in the black ink of the cover. The right front opening of the gatefold cover is not sealed.
VISUAL CONDITION
This record comes with the 2 originals posters, inner sleeve and postcards.
The sleeve is in excellent shape, some shelf or ring wear but light. Please see the pictures : you buy exactly what you see.
Side 1 is in excellent+ condition with very light non sounding hairlines. Side 2 is also excellent with some light scuffs but they are all non sounding.
The LP is really in excellent visual condition and in the cover, inner, poster and cards are excellent to near mint.

SOUND
This is for me the most important point. The sound is the best I have heard (I own several copies of this issue). No distorsion or hisses and no repeating ticks or pops. Plays wonderfully from start of side one to end of side two. Only very very occasional background noise on low level passages and less than all copies I could listen to. Again, this LP plays perfectly on both sides from start to end. No jumps or skips (not concerned by the skip issue sometimes present on the track "Money" on the A2 / B2 pressings).
All the tracks play fine, without any problems, skip or repeating noise.
SHIPPING
Shipping with tracking number and LP carefully packed (the LP will be in a separate MoFi inner antistatic sleeve). The LP has been washed on my personal KLAUDIO ultrasonic washing machine.
