Description

Up for sale is the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab “Original Master Recording” edition of The Dark Side of the Moon. This is the highly regarded MFSL half-speed master cut by Stan Ricker. The jacket and inserts are in Near Mint condition, and the vinyl plays extremely well.

Vinyl Condition (play-graded): EX

I have played the entire album and took careful notes:

Side 1
• One light tick at the very end of “Breathe (Reprise)”
Otherwise plays quiet and clean.
The label on Side 1 has a dark spot. It looks almost like there was a piece of masking tape or something there, but I have no recollection of ever doing that. Please see photos.

Side 2
• One tick about 1 minute into “Money”
• Two light ticks mid-way through “Us and Them”
Overall the record plays beautifully with excellent clarity and dynamics, just the expected minor isolated ticks as noted above.

No other noise, no groove damage, no repeating clicks.

Jacket & Packaging: NM

• Jacket is Near Mint – no splits, fading, or ring wear, with the exception of minor wear along the bottom of the spine. See Photos
• Includes original MFSL insert in excellent condition
• Spine is clean and readable

I am including the original stickers that came with very early Dark Side albums (they did not come with this Original Remaster). When I purchased this, I still had the stickers from the original release, and kept them stored with this copy.
