Awesome pressing! Great sound stage, crystal clear dynamics. Get it with no regret and hesitation! Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — RemyNi3 June 2, 2021 This pressing sounds amazing. Definatly worth buying for sure. Extremely crisp and clear. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — dimapro March 29, 2021 It would be nice if next re-issue campaign is cut directly from master or production tape without digitizing like done here. Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — Patomoi January 27, 2021 nice sound, rich and clear. Very happy with the replica of the sleeve and gifts. The sleeve have a some texture. The only observation is about this, the textured sleeve is easily marked with the fingers, even with the hands clean and dry. If you know how clean this marks, please tell me. Reply See 1 reply Notify me 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — moraxsm February 24, 2021 With a dry towel it cleans easy. You dont need any special cleaner Reply 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — Xchaps January 18, 2021
Sounds very good, even if the vinyl has a wave Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — iscaf83 January 17, 2021
Amazing pressing! How I imagined and hoping it would sound. It truly surrounds you and you hear the album like you never have. Great purchase! Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — WHSCougar2002 January 12, 2021
I must say, I'm impressed on how this sounds for the price. Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — jasonbum December 11, 2020
Great remaster of this iconic album. Excellent all around. Even packaging is first class. Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — MyBassistIsAHorse November 27, 2020 I stream this album regularly, I need this on vinyl. This is seen at every Walmart and Barnes and Noble. Probably incredibly easy to find. This pressing is very very good for the money. I have a early US pressing and this one sounds better. It’s got a really solid mid range and heavy low end. Highs are slightly rolled off compared to my other pressing. I did notice some compression issues at a few of the more complicated sections which doesn’t happen on my other pressing.
The vinyl is flat, clean, and played without any issues. Recommend Reply Notify me 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — dmn49 September 11, 2020 Flat, quiet, but off-center and sounds compressed and distorted. Maybe it is good for playing on Crossley. However my system played it horribly. Even re-release from 80s sounds better. I don't mention MFLS, which is absolutely gorgeous. So I returned this one. Just horrible. This is made for money, not to bring pleasure. Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon as reviewed by kebbmilla September 9, 2020
I really enjoy my copy, so much so I bought an extra! Very clean sounding, as if someone could make this album sound bad. Best part is you can find copies super cheap, because they are sold everywhere. A must have, even if its just a player copy. I don't know why, but I can't stop touching the cover as it has some very nice rubber feel.... well the record sounds great too :) Reply See 1 reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — GoodPickles November 6, 2020 Yeah, I love the matte finish on it as well! Reply Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — silentt29 March 27, 2020 I've recently heard that this was remastered digitally from the original tapes, then pressed. Has anyone else heard this? Reply See 2 replies Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — RobChorley May 26, 2020
HI..yes. I received a copy today. available on Amazon.co.uk and not remarkably expensive Reply Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — EvilDeadII April 4, 2020 I read that all of the new pressings are from 24/96 digital masters. Just compared Animals new pressing with a second gen Canadian pressing and the older pressing had a wider soundstage. Listened through Denon DL-103GL/Empire TT/Aesthetic Rhea Phono to Cary Audio Pre to Sunfire amp to Maggie 1.7 speakers. Reply 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon as reviewed by gstitanic February 14, 2020 Wow, Great remaster, sounds better than my original Canadian pressing from 1973. Very quiet and warm, very well balanced. Vinyl was 99 percent perfectly flat. My original 1973 pressing is warped and off centre on one side, with many pops and clicks, plus I put the album stickers on the jacket..... uggggg being a teenager at that time, plus I put my initials on everything. If I had only known back then. Reply See 1 reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — meevan January 9, 2021
I understand the point you are making about being a teenager and marking up the cover. Over time when buying used records I'm not really bothered by that especially if the record is in near mint condition. I now see those kind of markings as part of the history of the record. What was the person who bought this in 1973 like? Did they live in another part of the country? Did the record hold special significance to them? How many hands did this record pass through before reaching me. Reply 1 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon as reviewed by echauhan1 January 26, 2020 A generally very quiet and clean pressing. The clocks at the beginning of Time are superb and shows how clear this record can be, although overall all the tracks are bit too warm for my personal taste. Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — thatmatt_ December 12, 2019
My copy has some noise at the deadwax, and I have no idea what it is. Is that present on other copies or just mine? Reply Notify me Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon as reviewed by earlcook August 17, 2019
Just brought this played once sounds great but quite crackly .. just put it the spin clean sure it will fix it Reply Notify me 2 Helpful Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon — alphadrew88 January 13, 2019
Everything about this remaster/reissue is amazing. The new jacket and all the original goodies is awesome to have. The record itself sounds amazing. Very clean, definitley made very well. What can you say? Its a timeless album that has aged wonderfully. If you have an original I'd still recommend getting this reissue. Anyone who doesn't own a copy of dark side, better late than never.
