Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother
Original 1970 UK First issue, A-1G / B-1G First Master, first labels - No EMI Box.Harvest Records - SHVL - 781
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side A): SHVL 781 A-1G 1 PD
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side B): SHVL 781 B-1G 2 OP
In Excellent original condition. The vinyl is EX (just 1 or 2 faint lines, seen only under direct light, and searching, and they are of no effect to the audio).
The audio is NM The labels are NM The gate-fold cover is VG+
The original printed, EMI company inner sleeve is VG+ (no splits, rips or writing)
The water faucet drip at the end of "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" continues into a locked groove at the end of side B. This is not present on all LP versions, and is specific to the first UK Master.
The effect is a continuous and eternal water drip in the final groove loop (when played on a turntable that does not auto return)
Distinguishing features:
A-1G / B-1G matrices in runouts.
First label stock with 'Gramophone Co.' rim text,
NO boxed EMI logo on labels, 'Made in Gt. Britain' at bottom center inside ring.
Publishing credits for A1 and B4 are now 'World Copyrights/Lupus Music'.
Publishing credit for B4 is split over two lines.
Large Ⓟ on side two label. (it is the same height as the other text, not large, but it is larger than the 4th variant, so that is why it is called "large")
