Description
Please note that all LPs have been cleaned on my Nitty Gritty wet vacuum machine for best possible audio.
They will be sent in high quality mailers with cardboard stiffners for safe transit.
I will discount postage for multiple purchases. If you require a price in advance, please send me a message.
This auction is for Pink Floyd - Animals - Earliest UK Pressing with A2/B2 matrix (I'm unaware of A1/B1). Thick gatefold sleeve with wide spine and no barcode. Rounded card inner. This early pressing appears to have a pressing fault which causes a single skip during Pigs on Side 2. Unsure if this should have been withdrawn as can find no information about it online. Further details in my grading below.
Vinyl is VG - This appears to have been removed from it's card inner and stored in a paper sleeve for many years. Surfaces as a result are clean and scratch free. Disc plays very well with crystal clear and powerful audio. Some occasional light pops/ticks evident. As mentioned above, there is one skip on Side 2. I have cleaned this LP and closely inspected the area where it skips and can see nothing to cause this. I can only put this down to a pressing fault which occasionally occurs on early pressings - bit of a shame, but that's the way it is. Disc would have been Ex, but downgraded to VG because of the skip.
Sleeve is VG - Very prone to wear and this is no exception. Some rubbing and tiny tears evident (see photos). Still fully intact, with no significant damage however. Inner has some creasing/splitting.
