Description

CBS Sony Japanese pressing of Pink Floyd Animals
Absolutely stunning! I just played through this side one and two and am giddy with delight. It sounds so great and evokes a lot of memories. But I digress:
The cover is in excellent shape with minor scuffs and shelf wear. There is some slight sticker residue where used price sticker was...but you have to really look for it to know it is there.
The LP label has sticker residue from a price sticker...I never was able to get it entirely off back in the day. The LP vinyl is superb, looks great and sounds awesome. I played it through just now and it has very minor surface noise, inconsequential for the most part but there was one tick that repeated 3 times at one point. It was not terribly intrusive and could have been a bit of gunk cleaned out now by the needle in this playing.

I purchased this used back in the 80s and cared for it well ever since. I had not played it in decades but this spin before listing brought back fond memories of an era. The surfaces are terrific and the sound is great. There is surface noise, this isn't CD dead silent...it's analogue life!
not pictured is a paper insert I just noticed of the what I assume to be the lyrics in Japanese, pictures and text inside.
The only reason I am selling is that I just don't listen to my audiophile rig like I used to. This is too good to be sitting on my shelf for ever and it deserves a new home where it will be appreciated and given a spin now and again.
