Remixed from the original master tapes by James Guthrie, who is responsible for Pink Floyd's sound, this release offers the best possible quality, exquisite sound, and a refreshed version of the iconic artwork featuring the flying pig over Battersea Power Station. Although it was originally scheduled for release in 2018, various circumstances delayed it until the 45th anniversary in 2022.

'Animals' is a concept album that sharply criticizes social issues by replacing the human world with animals. The cover design, featuring a pig flying over Battersea Power Station on the Thames River in London, became one of the band's iconic images. The album achieved great success, reaching No. 2 on the UK charts and No. 3 in the US.

The LP is a limited edition, imported domestic version with a new design obi and gatefold sleeve.
