PRESSED ON MID/HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL (143g) WITH THE FIRST ISSUE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABELS WHICH CARRY "THE GRAMOPHONE CO" RIM TEXT AND "SOLD IN UK…" STATEMENT
MATRIX: YAX 3633 - 1 / YAX 3634 - 1
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 1/GF and 1/O (very early mothers and stampers).
THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FRONT LAMINATED TRI-FLIPBACK SLEEVE “Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending” WITH "File Under POPULAR: Pop Groups" IN THE TOP BACK CORNER
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL TINTED "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" EMI COMPANY ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE

LABELS: EXCELLENT -
The labels are clean with very little wear to the central hole and moderate spindle traces. Side One has a name on it but its on black biro so very difficult to see.
VINYL EXCELLENT -
Both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen with no dulling. There are a few superficial marks which can be seen in normal light and wispy sleeve removal hairlines under bright light.
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD++
The flipback cover is in great shape with a deep glossy sheen to the front laminate and clean back. The only noticable marks are the sticker residue which might come off and there is an owners name at the top edge but this is not noticeable. On the front there are a few laminate creases. The spine is great in tact and text visible. light feathering to the opening edge and minor corner rubbing from shelf storage this is a very fine example indeed
EMI COMPANY INNER SLEEVE: VERY GOOD
some general age fading and age marks. The edges have seam wear one side edge has split and the bottom edge has a minor split.
