Up for sale is one (1) Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse Of Reason PROMO LP from 1987 on Columbia Records (#OC 40599). Has DMM (signaling a high quality Direct metal Mastering) stamped into the dead wax on both sides. The rear cover has a gold promo stamp "FOR PROMOTION ONLY". First Pressing with Orange Flame and No Border around picture.
THIS IS A VERY RARE PROMO LP. This LP is becoming increasingly more difficult to find. This LP is very rare as vinyl was being phased out by the CD age in the mid to late 1980's. And this one is in great shape. I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME
The Vinyl is in very good+ condition, but has some surface marks that may cause some surface noise and you may hear some pops or clicks along the way.
I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
Nice fairly clean labels with a few spindle marks.
Has PRECISION DMM stamped into the dead wax.
The cover is in very good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings, scrapes, white fade spots, and ring wear, etc... There are no split seams, cut-outs, or writing on it.
The custom inner lyric sleeve is also in very good+ condition but has 1 split seam on the side. The whole package is in overall great shape.
I obtained this LP in the late 1980's. I listened to it a few times back in the day. It has not been played in over 25 years.
