Some extra info from the internet: "Phil Ranelin (b. May 25, 1939) is an American jazz and experimental music trombonist. Ranelin was born in Indianapolis, and lived in New York before moving to Detroit in the 1960s. He played as a session musician on many Motown recordings, including with Stevie Wonder. In 1971, he and Wendell Harrison formed a group called The Tribe, which was an avant-garde jazz ensemble devoted to black consciousness. Alongside it he co-founded Tribe Records. He released several albums as a leader in the 1970s, and continued with The Tribe project until 1978. following this, Ranelin worked with Freddie Hubbard. Ranelin worked mostly locally in Detroit in the following decades, and did not find widespread acceptance among jazz aficionados. However, he eventually came to the attention of rare groove collectors who became increasingly interested in his work. As a result, Tortoise drummer John McEntire remastered some of Ranelin's older material and re-released it on Hefty Records. A remix album soon followed, which included an appearance from Telefon Tel Aviv."

LP is a solid VG+, very near to a NM save for a couple faint, light scuffs on either side. There is no wear around the spindle hole, but there are a few spindle marks on either side of the interior label. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, still in the original shrink wrap with no split seams. All four corners have small creases and show minor corner wear. There is a small spot of discoloration on the front top right corner and back top left corner. This is a beautiful copy of this LP! Don't miss out on this hard to find gem! LP will be shipped media mail within the US. Shipping outside the US is via USPS First Class International. LP will be removed from the jacket, and jacket and LP will be shipped in a thick LP mailer with inserts to insure safe delivery! NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST OR UNDELIVERED BY THE USPS.
