CONDITION (COVER/RECORD): NM/EXC (strong)
NOTES: Stereo original. Cover still mostly in original shrink. Only cover flaw is slight wear/bumps to 2 right corners. Bright white borders, no splits - easily the best shape cover I've ever seen on this exotica masterpiece. Record is extremely close to NM - no scratches, no spindle hole wear, no real sign of prior play. However, Strand was a notorious budget label, so their pressings are not the best, so you can expect a little bit of surface noise here and there on all copies. I noticed some light clicks at the start of the side, but these went away quickly. Yeah, the price is high, but this album never shows up in such nice shape.
GRADES I USE: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR. I GRADE STRICTLY UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT. MY HIGHEST GRADE FOR AN UNSEALED RECORD IS NM (NEAR MINT) - A RECORD MUST LOOK LIKE NEW TO BE GRADED NM! AN EXC RECORD WILL SHOW ONLY SLIGHT SIGNS OF PRIOR PLAY. A VG+ IS A SOLID USED RECORD WITH MINOR VISUAL FLAWS THAT SHOULD PLAY WELL. A VG HAS MORE OBVIOUS VISUAL FLAWS BUT IS NOT TRASHED LIKE SOME SELLERS VG. RECORDS GRADED VG- OR WORSE WILL OFTEN PLAY MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK.
