Description

I’m selling a collection on behalf of a friend. Her partner was a member of the London Musicians Collective. It’s an incredible, truly eclectic collection, with drums gluing it together, so from percussive classical, through jazz (Stan Tracy, The Tippetts, Michael Garrick; Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, Jack DeJohnette) through to Run DMC 12s. There’s also for example, Laura Nyro, Hendrix, Special AKA, The Raincoats (test pressing). About 40 African pressings – early Salif and Youssou N’Dour plus lots of Radio France. I worked in a record shop for years, have listened to some of these records and I can tell they are immaculate. The partner was a professional sound recordist and obviously looked after his vinyl.

I’m punting a few on eBay to see what happens. My friend knows the value of some of these records and is in no hurry to sell but would be open to speaking to specialist dealers. Serious enquiries only please and no time wasters.

I have sold many records through eBay and have reinforced card LP envelopes.
