Description
On offer here is a copy of Fools Mate by Peter Hammill, released on the Pink Hatter Charisma label in 1971, catalogue number CAS 1037.
This is a Peter Hammill solo release, but is in effect a Van Der Graff Generator album as all the Van der Graff musicians play as well as Robert Fripp from King Crimson on guitar.
The fragile textured gatefold sleeve, made by the E J Day group is in Excellent condition with some wear on the tips of the corners and very slight points of wear along the bottom and top edge, see photos.
The vinyl is in great Near Mint condition, with a glossy shine to both sides and no scuffs or hairlines visible. The matrix numbers are CAS 1037 A -2U and CAS 1037 B - 2U. This is an early second pressing of this album, the labels denote the "B & C Records" credit and are the "Pink Hatter" variant.
The labels are also Near Mint.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record envelope made by Covers 33.
