Description
This is a stunning copy of a very rare LP. Please take a look at the photos. This is an original 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing on the Blue Horizon label.
The catalogue number is 7-63200. The cover is the laminated Ernest J. Day sleeve.
Labels
The labels are in excellent++ condition. The spine is still as good as new. There is no damage at all to the front cover which looks like new. The record has only been played a handful of times and any wear around the edges reflects this; it is very very minimal and you have to study to see if it's even been opened before. Like the front, the rear looks like new. The only very minor blemish is a small patch of sticker residue on the upper right corner which does not detract from the rear cover's appearance overall. Please see the pictures provided to see the outstanding quality.
Vinyl
The record plays like new. There are no pops or crackles, or surface noise. It has only been played a handful of times and has since been stored safely so the sound quality reflects this, which is outstanding. There are two hairlines on side two that are only visible under close inspection under a lamp. The vinyl shines like new and again, please see the pictures included to reflect this.
I sell quite a few records online (usually on another specialist site that I should perhaps not mention on Ebay) and am very conscious of being ultra conservative in my grading criteria. This record however, I would have to rate at Near Mint. Hopefully the pictures will do this record the justice it deserves as a copy in this good condition is extremely rare (of an already rare LP).
