A deeply personal and sonically expansive album, Us finds Peter Gabriel exploring themes of love, loss, and identity through richly layered arrangements and global textures. Originally released in 1992, this 2016 half-speed remastered edition was cut at 33RPM on heavyweight vinyl by Matt Colton at Alchemy Mastering, with mastering overseen by Tony Cousins and Gabriel’s longtime engineer Richard Chappell. The gatefold sleeve replicates the original artwork, and the pressing includes a hi-res download card. From the emotional plea of “Come Talk to Me” to the cinematic sweep of “Secret World,” Us remains one of Gabriel’s most confessional and musically adventurous works.
